Past Ola Girls Association, (Year 2000 ladies) recently organized a carrier orientation program which is one of the many activities that we are undertaking leading to our 25th-anniversary celebration since we completed Ola.
Per POGA Global mandate, we the 2000-year group are supposed to adopt one particular year group, to mentor and guide them and Prepare them to be fully ready for the outside world by the time we celebrate our 25th anniversary.
This will be happening in 2025 God willing.
The theme we have chosen for our celebration is ” Leading the crusade for preparing female innovators and change agents” and activities such as these are only in the right direction. For one to be a part of the 4th industrial Revolution, which is the future way of doing things, one must be adequately prepared.
We are proud to mention that our alma Mata is fully behind us and supporting us to achieve this goal.
We have a team of dedicated ladies many of you don’t see in these pictures and those that you see in these beautiful pictures are ready and happily willing to contribute in the little ways they can for us to achieve this goal.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank us all for the great work we have started and the many more ahead of us.
